Working with Alpaca Haze is widely described as a smooth and luxurious experience, as the yarn is specifically spun to glide easily through the fingers. However like most lace-weight fuzzy yarns, it comes with a few distinct handling traits.
What's it best for?
It is best for creating delicate, cloud-like garments and accessories that need maximum warmth with almost zero weight. Because it mimics the properties of a traditional mohair-silk blend but features a more opaque, matte alpaca finish, it excels at specific styles of knitting and crocheting.
